Eligibility Criteria for TNTET 2024 Application Form

Educational Qualification -

For Class 1st to 5th Teachers - 

• Applicants who want to apply for TNTET 2024 they all must have passed B.ed, Nursery Teacher Training of 2 years BTC in Urdu and BTC. OR

• 12th class Along with diploma in teacher education/ Elementary Education/B.Sc/B.A/B/Litt in Maths, Physics, Botany, Chemistry, English, Geography, History or any similar degree from any recognized University.

For Class 6th to 8th Teachers - 

• Those aspirants who have passed Graduation with at least 45% marks having with the 2-year diploma in Education or B.ed with 50% Marks. or FInal year appearing in D.E.Ed/B.Ed degree also can apply.

Age limit - 

• Those applicants who wish to apply for TNTET Exam 2024 their age should be between 18 to 40 years.

• Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved category related applicants as per government norms and regulations.

TNTET 2024 Application Form -

TNTET 2024 Exam Pattern - 

1. Under Tamil Nadu TET 2024 two papers will be held.

2. Applicants will get only 3 hours to complete their exam.

3. All the questions will carry 150 marks in total.

4. Each correct answer will give 1 mark to the candidate.

5. No negative marking will apply in this exam.

TNTET Prelims 2024 Exam Pattern - 

• In its prelims exam, there will be questions asked from various subjects like as Tamil / English / Child Development & Pedagogy / Environmental Studies or Mathematics. There will be total 150 questions asked for 150 marks. To complete this paper applicant can get maximum 90 mins.

• In its Mains exam, there will be questions asked from various subjects like as Tamil / English / Child Development & Pedagogy / Maths & Science / Social Science. There will be total 150 questions asked for 150 marks. To complete this paper applicant can get maximum 90 mins.

TNTET 2024 Selection Procedure -

TNTET Hall Ticket 2024-
