• The candidates who are the grandchildren of the Honorable MPs, PSU Employees and KVS employees need a certificate of relationship that will prove it.

• ST/EWS/ SC/OBC and BPL categories candidates need to give the essential certificate issued by the state.

Method of Admission to Class 

1) In the first phase of admission, as per RTE Provisions, 25% of seats need to be filled. As per this, ten seats (out of 40 places) in Class I per section are to be filled. The ten positions will be filled by SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC who are the residents of Neighborhood.

2) In the second phase, the remaining seats are filled according to the existing Priority category system.  

Admission for Class II to Class VIII:-

There is no admission test for Class II to VIII. This admission is mainly based on the Priority category system.  

But sometimes the number of applications is more than the number of seats. That's why there is a lottery system that will be followed in each category, including single girl child quota (Class VI Onwards).

Admission for Class IX:-

For the admission of Class IX candidates, an admission test shall be taken. And a list of merit is prepared for every category.

(i) the candidates give admission test on those subjects: Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science and Science.

(ii) There is only one paper containing 3 Hours duration & 100 marks where comprising each subject ( Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science & Science) carry 20 marks.

(iii) Candidates have to get 33% marks to qualify. The students belonging to SC/ST category (P.H.) need to secure 25% marks.

For class-XI

For the admission in different streams such as Science, Commerce, Humanities, the Class XI KV students need to get marks scored in class X exams as beneath: 

1. Science Stream: in this stream, a minimum of 60% marks is required in aggregate for all subjects. 

2. Commerce:  for commerce stream, you need to get at least 55% Marks in aggregate of all subjects. 

3. Humanities Stream: here all students of K.V. can join who get success in the Class X exam.

After these, if there are any seats left vacant, for this the marks are needed to be given below.

1. Science Stream: in this stream, a minimum of 55% marks is needed in aggregate for all subjects. 

2. Commerce:  for commerce stream, you need to get at least 50% Marks in a total of all items. 

3. Humanities Stream: here all students of K.V. can join who get success in the Class X exam.
