CAT 2022 registration will be online process only and after the availability of CAT 2022 online application forms, all the eligible applicants can submit their application forms with all correct personal details. CAT Eligibility Criteria-

1. A candidate who want to apply for CAT he/she should have bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

2. If marks are obtained in the form of CGPA then it would be converted to percentage marks based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution.

3. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of bachelor’s degree or whose results are pending they are also eligible to apply for CAT.

Application fee for CAT 2022-

• The CAT 2022 registration fee will be Rs.1800/- for General candidates

• CAT Registration Fee will be Rs.900/- for reserved category candidates.

• All Applicants can Pay CAT 2022 Fee online by using Debit/Credit cards or by Net banking.

How to apply for CAT 2022 online Application forms-

1. First of all, go to the official CAT 2022 webpage.

2. Then create a Profile and save the User ID and Password.

3. Submit the online Application Form after entering all Educational & personal details.

4. Pay the application fee through Net banking/Credit card/Debit card.

5. Save the application form & Fee submission proof for future purposes.

CAT Reservations Policy-

The seat reservation will be applicable for CAT and the seats are reserved as follows:

• Schedule Caste (SC) – 15% seats

• Schedule Tribe (ST) – 7.5% seats

• Non-Creamy – Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) – 27% seats

• PWD Differently abled (DA) candidates – 3% seats

CAT Exam Pattern-

To clear the CAT Examination all applicants need to check the CAT Exam Pattern, No. Of Questions, Syllabus. For the help of all applicants, we have given the CAT Exam Pattern, Syllabus below.

• It will be a Computer based test (CBT).

• CAT Examination will be 180 minutes.

• There will be 100 Objective type questions.

• Logical reasoning & data interpretation, verbal ability & Reading Comprehension and quantitative ability covered the syllabus topics.

• 3 marks will be given for every correct answer.

• There will be negative marking and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

CAT 2022 Call Letter Download

All the applicants will be able to download their CAT 2022 Admit Cards through online mode only. You will also get E-mail with the admit card downloading link whenever admit cards will be released. All candidates need to bring their original Exam call Letter and one identity proof at the examination centre.

CAT Answer Key 2022

Official CAT answer keys along with question papers will be released minimum 15 days after the CAT examination. CAT Answer Keys will be released only through online mode. If any candidate have an objection then they can submit their objections against answer keys. With the help of officials answer keys,all candidates can estimate their score card in the examination.

CAT 2022 Result/Score Card Merit List

Whenever the officials will declare the CAT Result all candidates will also get information on their registered phone number and E-mail Address. All candidates can check their result through the official website by using their valid user ID and password.  CAT result will contain the CAT percentile marks and total marks got by the candidate. The score card of CAT will be valid for one year after its declaration.

CAT 2022 Cut-Off Marks

Each IIM will release their own cut-off marks for the admission process and candidates who will cross the CAT cut-off criteria they will be eligible for admission. Candidate’s past academic record and work experience will also matters in admission process.

Selection Process-

On the basis of the CAT cut-off marks, IIMs and various b-schools will shortlist the candidates for the admission process. All shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview, Group Discussion, and Written Ability Test. Final Admission will be given on the basis of CAT score, GD, PI and WAT and candidate’s academic performance and work experience basis.
